Fair Association will employ guards to patrol the grounds. Anyone trying to fraudulently enter the grounds by climbing fences, or any other means, will be arrested and prosecuted.
Intoxication of any person on the grounds will be just cause for their removal from the grounds.
In cases where one person makes his own competition, only one cash prize shall be awarded, to be based on the merit of the exhibit, according to the opinion of the judges.
No purchase to be made for account of the association except through the office of the secretary. No bill will be honored when contacted other than through the secretary's office.
Property of privileged and concession people or patrons will be taken on the grounds at their own risk and kept in such places as they themselves provide, or agree to, and the association will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of the same. Also the association will not be responsible for failure to perform its part of the contract should officers of the law seize, or prevent any concessionaire or privileged person from operation.
No privilege or concession granted by association to any privileged person or concessionaire to be construed as granting the privilege to sell anything or to do anything that is contrary to the laws of the State of Tennessee and/or the United States.
All harness races will be held according to the rules and regulations of the United States Trotting Association.
Track will be under jurisdiction of race secretary at all times except during races, and he shall determine whether it is in proper condition.
Judges will carefully observe and adhere closely to the specifications and conditions in each case.
No animals will be permitted to run at large on the grounds.
Competent judges will be provided. No one interested in exhibits or who is entered as an exhibitor in the same department will be eligible as a judge.
The association reserves the right to change or declare off any ring or show.
No variation from the premium list as given in the catalogue shall be allowed.
Any misrepresentation in connection with any entry, by fact stated or omitted, will render such entry not eligible.
In no case will the name of owner or exhibitor be allowed attached until after premiums have been awarded.
Under no condition will any freight or express charges be paid by the association and articles should not be addressed to association, but owner, care of association.
Any exhibitor who publicly expresses disapproval of the judge's decision, or who is guilty of conduct unbecoming an exhibitor, will be excluded from all exhibitions, his premiums will be forfeited, and he may be excused from the grounds. Also any exhibitor who enters an article and refuses to show, without good cause, may be subject to the same treatment.
The management reserves the right to cancel at anytime, for reasons satisfactory to itself, any concession privilege, without reimbursement.
Anyone shall be subject to such rules as may promulgated by the management and for refusal may be excused from fairgrounds and barred from entrance to include future events.
Right is reserved to inspect at any time any show, concession, booth, stall or animal on the grounds.
All animals or articles exhibited in the arena will be under the immediate charge of the superintendent for the class and shall be subject at all times to his orders, as well as the orders of the judges and show superintendent.
Any exhibitor refusing to comply with instructions or request of superintendent or judges, or refusing to give information required, may be barred from such ring or any other exhibition and the fact made known.
Directors of the Lincoln County Fair shall be ineligible to win door prizes.
Should a case come up not covered by these rules, it should be decided according to the rules of the association to which the class or breed may belong.
All protests must be made in writing to the secretary or superintendent of the respective departments and must state fully and specifically upon what grounds the protest is made, and accompanied by a fee of $25, otherwise it will not be considered. In case the protest is sustained the fee will be returned, otherwise to become the property of the association.
All premiums will be designated by ribbons or cards of the following colors: first prize, blue ribbon; second prize, red ribbon; third prize, white ribbon; champion or sweepstakes, purple ribbons.
Hitching of animals and parking vehicles will be only in spaces designated for this purpose.
All animals entered for exhibition must be entered in their right names and in the names of the owners. Certificates of registration shall be required in registered classes.
No barren or impotent animals shall be exhibited in breeding classes.
All articles (excluding livestock) exhibited for premiums must be strictly the product of the owner, either grown, made, manufactured, or owned by him.
All animals exhibited in competition must be under the control of the exhibitor at all times. Failure to accomplish this will result in the animal being excused from the arena.
All bulls twelve months of age and older will be shown with a halter and a nose lead at all times. While tied in the stall or in the tie-out area, all bulls will have a halter and a neck rope in place.
No animal will be allowed to leave the arena after reporting for exhibition, except by permission of the judges.
All beef and dairy cattle should be pre-registered by entry form deadline. Registration fee will be doubled if late.
Any new breed may be added to show with a pre-registration of 15 head by 3 different exhibitors.
All animals must use unloading area so designated.
All livestock for exhibit must enter Amana Street gate (Back Gate).
