Lincoln County Fair
Fair President's Letter

Welcome to the Lincoln County Fair

We are glad to welcome all to the 109th Lincoln County Fair. We hope to make this fair week the best week ever!

We are fortunate to be part of a community with a strong agricultural history and a strong sense of community pride. We appreciate the vote in this year's Elk Valley Times readers' poll as "Best Community Event."

We are truly a community event. The efforts of hundreds of individual volunteers and members of local organizations, service groups, high school clubs, 4-H and others are essential to make the fair a reality. We cannot express enough thanks to our corporate sponsors without whose financial support we could not even get started. Corporate sponsors allow us to maintain our infrastructure, pay our utilities, start up the fair each year, and have top-notch entertainment. All you folks who come through our gates keep the tradition alive! You make it possible to give prize money to each proud 4-H student who gets a ribbon on an entry, as well as every winner exhibiting canned goods, craft items, crops, vegetables and livestock during the week. The concerts, horse races, motorsport shows are all included in one gate admission without any extra fees at the grandstands. This is all accomplished without any taxpayer funds from the county or city.

We have one of the best fairs in the state of Tennessee! We have something for everyone every day and night during the Lincoln County Fair. Whether you have attended every year since you can remember or you are about to visit our fair for the first time, we hope that you will take away wonderful memories and want to come back again next year!
Sincerely,
