Rules:
1. 1-Ring Senior and Junior Doe Combined Show and Junior Doe Show.
2. Check-In: Begins at 7 A.M. All goats must be checked in by 8:30 A.M. Show begins at 9 A.M. There will be a
Youth Showmanship Class and a Champion Challenge.
3. Entry fees are $5 per animal for entries received on or before Sept. 6, 2026. Late entries after Sept. 6, 2026,
through Sept. 15, 2026, will be $8 per animal. No entries will be accepted at check-in.
4. ADGA rules and guidelines shall govern.
5. Alpines, Lamancha, Nigerian Dwarf, Nubian, Saanen, Recorded Grade Breeds and AOP will be sanctioned
separately pending registration numbers. Breeds not meeting numbers by Sept. 15, 2026, will be AOP,
6. Original registration papers are required for animals six months of age or older. Stamped duplicates will be
accepted for kids younger than six months old. Papers must be shown at check-in.
7. The base date for computing animal’s age is September 20, 2026.
8. No pre-show milk out. No horned animals.
9. CVIs – Health Certificates from a licensed veterinarian are required within 90 days of show date for all
Tennessee participants (30 days for out-of-state animals). Out-of-state animals require a Negative TB and
Brucellosis test within 30 days of the show. No Test Required if you come from a free state or originate from a
certified and accredited herd. Health Certificates as well as TB and Brucellosis forms will be required at check-in
before animals are unloaded. The show committee will check all health documentation.
10. All livestock must enter grounds through the Amana Street gate (back gate) to load and unload in the
designated loading area. Free admission for Exhibitor only.
11. PENS – Pens are available for $5 each. We have twenty-six (26) 6 x 8 ft pens and twenty (20) 4.5 x 7.5 ft.
pens available in the Sheep Barn and eighty-five (85) roughly 5x7 pens available in an adjacent barn. We do
not want to run out of pens and ask everyone to please be as conservative as possible when reserving. NO
TACK STALLS AVAILABLE. Shavings will be available at the show site. You are more than welcome to show from
your trailer!!!We estimate enough spots for approximately 20 trailers closely behind the show arena. Please
indicate on your entry form if you would prefer to show from trailer to reserve one of these spots.
12. PARKING – General trailer parking is available at the rear of the show barns in a separate area. For those
arriving on Saturday night, there are NO electrical hookups available. Please indicate on your entry form if you
will be staying overnight with us.
13. CONCESSIONS – Food will be available in the form of fair food and the vendors at the fair.
14. Premiums for LCF Dairy Goat Show: 1st $15, 2nd $10, 3rd $5. Each Exhibitor will be eligible for only 2 monies
per class.
15. HERDSMAN AWARD 1st $23. Awarded for maintenance of the neatest and cleanest exhibit, observance
of all rules and regulations, and cooperation with fair officials and fellow exhibitors.
